Continental 816-3C 25kW Transmitter

Planning to part out this unit, but if someone wants it whole, we are accepting bids right now.  Bottom price (whole transmitter) is $8500 plus you pick up at Quitman, Mississippi.    There is no exciter.  Low Pass filter apparently built into transmitter.  Unit was in service when removed about 6 months ago.  The station where it came from underwent an antenna change and reduced the size transmitter required leaving this one as spare.  It is a good unit and was very dependable.  The tube is good but beginning to get soft.  Recommend a rebuilt tube when you install.  Interested parties can reach me at edsmith@joychristianradio.com or call 601.557.1211 during  business hours.
